Tyler & Katie

Had a great time this evening on an engagement shoot with a really cool couple! Tyler and Katie just rocked it out! They were great and were willing to do whatever I asked them to do! I love clients like that! Here are a few images from earlier this evening.
Thanks guys!
I had a blast!

Gabby's 1st Concert

Gabby took her first steps yesterday! Yeah! We heard the guitar being played and went in there and baby girl was playing with the guitar.
Alot of firsts this week.

Blues Music at Dixie's Roasting Company
Damien had some more music at our local Roasting House that just happens to be a couple blocks away from my office. Dixie's is my every morning stop before going to the office.
He has started hosting some local talent in there for some music on Saturday afternoons.
This is some images of Matt. We went out on the railroad tracks to get some classic pics. I mean railroad tracks, guitars, trucker hat, and the blues! I couldn't resist.
They've got a real good sound and definitely can play the guitar.

Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep
Click on the title above.
Check this out. This is from Mike Colon's blog.
Click on the title and it will take you to the story. It made me cry. I've read of this group before and I am contemplating volunteering with them in the area.
You can go to the side bar at the top to access their website and the Today Show video.
thanks,
db

Happy Birthday Gabby!
Gabby's Birthday Party.
She eats like I eat! :)
We had a great time.
Steve and Brandy, Gabby's God Parents hosted her party and we had
alot of fun!.
As you can tell, she had a large time
and was on a sugar high for a while!
Baby girl was born on March 3, 2007 at 3:37 PM. Seems just like yesterday.
I thank God for a wonderful little person who I love more and more every day.
Happy Birthday Gabby Rei !!
Love, Daddy

Nate and Shauna's Goodbye Pics
Nate and Shauna are great friends of ours. They are Gabby's adopted Uncle and Aunt. They are a tremendously cool couple who are great for each other. They are both so talented, excellent leaders, and pastors. Nate is such a great leader and teacher and Shauna has such a love for people and always with a "Good Job!" for everyone around her.
I got to know them even better when I accompanied the mission team to Kenya that they were leading. They truly showed the love of God in everything they did.
Nate has been offered the Pastor of Creative Arts at a church in Baltimore, MD and they will be leaving our church to take this and we are sad for them to leave but excited for this opportunity they have been given.
We wish them nothing but the best that God has in store for them and expect to see them this summer. They came into the studio last week and we had a good time getting them some pictures for the road. Here are a few of them.
We are going to miss you guys!
Daryl, Steph, and Gabby Rei

Moss Family
He and his bride, Colleen, told me that they have been married 52 years. I wish them many more happy years.
We were able to capture 4 generations of Moss'. Very cool.
Thanks guys had a good time.
Sincerely,
daryl
P.S. (2-22-08) I found out this afternoon that Gary Sr., the grandfather in this picture, had a mini stroke on Wednesday. He is doing ok, but I ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He is a wonderful gentleman who eyes light up when he smiles. He reminds me of my own Paw-Paw, who passed away 7 years ago, who always had a smile on him. Actually, it was a slight grin that was always ready to bust out into a full laugh or abig ol' smile. As I write this I can remember him say, "Awwww, now Daryl" as I was teasing him back about one thing or another. Maybe about him needing a haircut or something like that. Even though it got cut at the barber about every 2
weeks.Good Memories! Treasure your loved ones while you are able. That way you are able to have great memories forever!
thanks,

daryl
